肝病转化医学研究所

 

首都医科大学科技园肝病转化医学研究所（Translational Hepatology Institute at Capital Medical University，THI-CMU）是以肝病新技术和新产品的研发、转化、推广、服务为主要功能的国内首个医科大学肝病转化医学研究所，并依托首都医科大学科技园和相关公司向社会提供服务。

首都医科大学创建于1960年，是国内一流国际知名的高等医学院校，也是新中国成立后北京地区建立的首所综合性医科大学，两院院士、全国人大常委会原副委员长吴阶平教授为首任校长。目前学校有10个二级学院，21个附属医院，教职工总数21000余人，其中教授近400人，院士9人。肝脏病学一直是首都医科大学传统优势学科,在肝纤维化、肝衰竭、肝再生、肝移植等领域的研究处于国内领先地位。

为适应转化医学发展的需要，加速肝病科研成果转化并造福众多肝病患者，经学校多次论证并经校长办公会研究决定，成立首都医科大学科技园肝病转化医学研究所。研究所实行所长负责制，自主管理、自主经营、自负盈亏。目前研究所设有行政部、技术部、项目部等部门，并依托校本部基础医学院、生物医学工程学院、药学院及各临床附属医院，开展肝胆病药品与营养品、医疗器械、疑难和重症肝病精确诊断技术等的研究和开发。研究所开展的遗传代谢性肝病基因检测、HBV/HCV耐药基因检测、自身免疫性肝病多抗体联合检测，不仅提供精准检测报告，还有资深临床专家团队做出临床诊断建议、提供治疗和跟踪随访服务，受到患者广泛欢迎。

2015年起首都医科大学科技园肝病转化医学研究所与国际著名肝病研究机构、以乙肝表面抗原发现者和1976年诺贝尔医学奖获得者Blumberg教授名字命名的美国费城Baruch S. Blumberg研究所共建了“中美联合肝病转化研究中心”（Sino-US Joint Translational Hepatology Research Center），并选派了多批国内中青年医生前往美国交流进修。

首都医科大学科技园肝病转化医学研究所首任所长由中华医学会肝病学分会主任委员、首都医科大学附属北京佑安医院副院长段钟平教授担任，副所长由首都医科大学基础医学院院长、中华医学会医学细胞生物学分会主任委员安威教授担任。

Translational Hepatology Institute at Capital Medical University (THI-CMU), as the first translational hepatology institute belonging to medical university domestically, is supported by both Science Park of CMU and CMU related companies. The mission of THI-CMU is to develop, transform, popularize of new technologies and new products in the field of hepatic diseases.

CMU, established in 1960 as one of the nation’s leading higher medical colleges and universities, is the first large scale medical university in Beijing area since 1949. Dr. Jieping Wu, academicians of both Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese  Academy of Engineering, former Vice Chairman of Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, was the first president of CMU. There are 10 colleges, 21 affiliated hospitals with 21000 faculties, around 400 professors and 9 academicians in CMU. Hepatology has been a traditional advantageous scholarly discipline in CMU, especially the study of liver fibrosis, liver failure, liver regeneration and liver transplantation are in the leading position domestically.

To adapt the development of translational medicine and rapidly enhance more production transforming for patients with liver diseases, evaluated several times by CMU, THI-CMU was approved to be established. The president of THI-CMU has overall responsibility for the institute, including independently management and full responsible for its own profits and losses. Currently, THI-CMU is composed of Administrative Department, Project Department and Technical Department, et al. In collaboration with basic medical school, biomedical engineering school, pharmacology school and affiliated hospitals of CMU, THI-CMU has projects of new hepatobiliary drugs and nutrients, medical instruments for liver disease. Currently, we have established a comprehensive clinical detection platform for the patients with inherited metabolic liver diseases, HBV/HCV patients with nucleotide analogs resistance and autoimmune liver disease patients. By this platform, our senior experienced clinician teams can provide customized detection, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up services which are welcomed by the patients and clinicians.

 Since 2015, THI-CMU and Baruch S. Blumberg Institute, located in Philadelphia, USA , have set up Sino-US Joint  Translational Hepatology  Research Center. From then on, many batches of young Chinese physicians have been selected and invited to further study in USA .

Dr. Zhongping Duan serves as the president of THI-CMU, meanwhile he is also the vice president of Beijing Youan Hospital CMU and president of Chinese Society of Hepatology, CMA. Professor Wei An is the vice president of THI-CMU, as well as the director of Basic Medical School of CMU and president of Chinese Society of cell biology, CMA.

THI-CMU is dedicated to establish an open innovation and cooperation platform. We warmly welcome domestic and foreign counterparts to cooperate and seek common development, to perform more production transforming for patients and society.
